How To Add A Subscribe Button To Your YouTube Video In 2018

Eric Evenstad • Jul 14, 2018

Adding a Subscribe button to your videos is one of the best ways to grow your YouTube channel...

The problem is that most of the tutorial videos that explain how to do this are outdated.

As a relatively new YouTuber, I was doing research to figure out how to add buttons to my videos, but all of the how-to videos showed a method called Annotations. That would be great except for the fact that YouTube no longer allows Annotations.

So I had to figure out a new way to add a Subscribe button to my videos.

In this video, I explain that new way. I show you how to add a Subscribe button to your YouTube videos in 2018.

The method I show you involves a feature called "End Screens" and it allows you to create a Subscribe button that appears during the last 20 seconds of each video.

As a bonus, I also show you how to add a "recommended next video" button to the last 20 seconds of your videos... which will help keep people on your YouTube channel.

The process to set these up is super simple and it'll be well worth the added views and subscribers.
