4 Mistakes That Prevent Outsourcing Success

Hiring a superstar virtual assistant that can tackle all of your low value, repetitive tasks at a high level is a pretty straight forward process... if you know what you're doing.

If you don't know what you're doing, it can be a painful experience that ends up wasting lots of time and money.

From my experience, the people that struggle with outsourcing typically make one of these four common outsourcing mistakes:


  1. They don't put their VA in a position to succeed. They try to hire a super VA that can do everything from bookkeeping to SEO to web design... and that person just doesn't exist.
  2. They take shortcuts during the hiring process which leads to poor hiring decisions.
  3. They don't invest enough time and energy into training their new hires.
  4. They treat their virtual assistant like a robot rather than showing them the attention and care that they deserve.
